The APHL Training Sandbox has been created to provide managers, scorekeepers, team officials, and referees with a safe environment to learn and practice using the RAMP Gamesheet App.
All games, teams, and game codes within the Training Sandbox are for training purposes only and are not connected to any live APHL league games. Users are encouraged to explore the app, practice entering rosters, goals, penalties, officials' reports, and game signatures without concern about affecting real game data.
The Training Sandbox allows users to:
The APHL Training Sandbox includes four unique game codes, each representing a different role within the RAMP Gamesheet App. These codes allow users to practice the same functions they would perform during a live game.
To add a code, open the RAMP Gamesheet App and select "+ Add Game Code". Multiple game codes can be added to a single account, allowing users to experience different roles within the app. For training purposes, users are encouraged to add all four codes and explore the responsibilities and permissions associated with each role.
We strongly encourage all managers, scorekeepers, and officials to use the Training Sandbox before their first league game. A few minutes of practice can help ensure game night runs smoothly and reduces the likelihood of errors during live game entry.
Remember: You cannot break anything in the Training Sandbox. Test it, learn it, and become comfortable with the RAMP Gamesheet App before using it in an official APHL game.
